What is your favorite band of all time?

Now, it does not have to be from this year or last, heck it could be from 1910 for all I care!
I just want to know, what is your favorite band ever? There are tons of great ones, but which one sticks with you no matter what?
For me it would be Chicago, I have loved them since I was a little girl!

Without a doubt, Duran Duran. I was a complete Duranie FREAK in the 80's. I still have most of my paraphanelia as well. I also have people from my past (usually via facebook) telling me, "Karen, every time I hear Duran Duran I think of you". It's scary really. lmao!

lol, yea that is a little scary! :O) But hey it could be worse! You could have been a New Kids on the Block freak! LOL (Me and my sisters were...)
I had a neighbor that adored Duran Duran. Her walls were literally wall papered with posters of them. LOL

Poison. Without a doubt Poison. I have loved them since I was a little girl and still go see them when they play a show nearby or even just Bret Michaels with his country solo band.

Hmm, there are actually three that are my all-time favorites. I can't possibly choose just one out of the three. They are: Pink Floyd, Scorpions and Stone Temple Pilots
(Did they even have bands in 1910?) haha

i like backstreet boys.. they are the best boy band group, i think.. hehe.. aside from that reason, my boyfriend loves backstreet boys too..

I would have to say my favorite band is Bad Religion. I'm a punk rock lover and this band just offers such a melodic sound and intelligent lyrics. The lead singer Greg Graffin can inspire, is extremely intelligent and offers great showsmanship. The guitars are fierce and amazing. The drumming also follows suit.

I would have to say Genesis is my favorite band. Everything from their prog-rock roots to their evolution into a superb pop band, I think they are great.

Okay, my favorite band is Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. I just saw that youngster on the Super Bowl halftime show. What a hoot it would have been to run down on that field and jump around to the music. I've listened to my kids' music for years now instead of mine so I have 20 years of their favorites under my belt. Going back to before kids, I liked BTO, Blood Sweat and Tears, Doobie Brothers, and a lot of that stuff from that era which I imagine half the folks reading this dicussion know nothing about LOL. whit
