ANSWERS TO 99.9% of MYLOT QUESTIONS

GOOGLE IT! Whether it is a recipe you want, only know some lyrics, but need name of song/artist, how to fix errors in your p.c., general knowledge, etc. ......99.9% of the time all you have to do is input your question, in GOOGLE! Although it is not Boolean, and lacks the sophistication of ALTA VISTA, GOOGLE is fast and returns very accurate results.
Example: You know lyric string "....like the burning end of a midnight cigarette.."
input: song title lyrics author "like the burning end of a midnight cigarette"
Google returns title "Whiskey Lullabye" along with artist data, lyrics, websites etc.
Although I enjoy MYLOT, and enjoy answering those questions for which I am competent and qualified, I notice that many remain unanswered for months and months, when all it takes is a Google search!
Go Figure!

Looks like you have never visited one of my discussions. LOL
I wish my discussions could be answered so easily as this. But I have seen that posted as a response to a discussion more than a time or two.

I have to agree with you. Using a search engine for those types of questions is going to be far quicker and easier than asking on MyLot. However, MyLot can be excellent for getting personal opinions on things. For some things asking an actual human being can be far more helpful than using a search engine!
