My day was pretty stressful, although I had the house to myself for the most part while my boyfriend took my son fishing. They came home with one fish and a turtle and then proceeded to go to the pet store and spend $50.00 on turtle supplies. Go figure. How was your day?

Since this was posted yesterday and I have yet to do anything today, I will tell how my day was yesterday.
We woke up at 5 am and drove to Alabama for my step-daughter's gymnastics meet. That was fun, except our youngest daughter got a little crabby when she had to sit still longer than she likes. It was good though.
There was a Target next door so we went and my husband bought me the digital camcorder that we had been looking at for months.
We then went to one of our favorite Japanese restaurants for lunch. The sushi was fantastic.
After we left there, we went on base to the GNC. We bought some way expensive supplements for my husband (I think that stuff is a bunch of crap, but he swears it works) and I bought some protein packets and little things I could send to my brother over in Iraq. He is big into working out too.
We then took my daughter to the playground for the first time. It is really warm here and now that she is running all over the place we thought she would have fun. She did and so did we. We took her out on the piers too because the playground is near the water at the Marina. She made me nervouse and she started getting tired so we left.
My husband got hives from somewhere. We think he might be allergic to moss and the live oaks are all around the base and playground. He always gets the hives when we go out there. He stopped and checked out a couple of new Mixed Martial Arts gyms and we went back to my parents house where we are staying while we visit.
At some point I got really bad anxiety.
We played with the kids outside and chatted with my ex-husband awhile. My ex lives next door to my parents. My eight year old son started getting sick at about 7 pm. He got the same thing that the rest of us had last week. He seemed to bounce back from it much quicker than the adults though.
We went next door and I sat with him until he was feeling better, then we all played until 9 pm.
At midnight my husband decided he was hungry. About half an hour later he left for Taco Bell. It wasn't until 2 am that he walked in with it. He had forgotten about the closest Taco Bell to our house. I had fallen asleep by then, but he made me get up and eat with him and play this new trivia game we got for the PS2.
After that I fell asleep while he played Guitar Hero.
This morning he is tired from staying up so late playing video games. :)

Sounds like you had a very full and satisfying day. How nice that you got the camcorder you wanted. If you don't mind what base were you at? I grew up in the military and have lived quite a few places. If you can top Saturday, have a wonderful Sunday.

I am not familiar with Mississippi or Georgia, but MacGuire I have been through many times as for most of our time spent in the military was overseas. We'd always come through MacGuire on our way out or our way back in.

We had another great day today. We went back to Mobile today, went shopping a little bit and got a great deal on a new lens for our digital camera! We paid $26 for a lens that was $200.
We are at Keesler AFB in Mississippi right now. We live in NJ though and are stationed at McGuire AFB/Ft.Dix. We are looking into PCSing to Warner-Robins AFB in Georgia in the coming year. We'll see if that works out though.

Oh --one more thing. Turtle food tip... When I was a kid we had a turtle and we didn't bother with the dried bug food. My mom froze a chicken liver and we just shaved it really thin (while still frozen) into the water. When it hit the water it thawed immediately the the turtles go wild over it. Maybe you'll have to give him a time or two to figure out what it is. We fed the turtle in a separate bowl as if he didn't eat it all it got messy and of course he pooped in there after he ate, lol. Then put him back in his own fresh water. Try it! I'd love to hear how he does.

I'll be sure to pass that along to my boyfriend and son. Personally, I'm not doing anything with livers of any kind, but those who fish, I'm sure won't mind in the least.

You're probably lucky to get off with $50 for turtle supplies, lol. We must have spent that much or more on one of those fancy hamster cages with the plastic tunnels, tower, wood chips, food, etc. etc. At least the turtle was free!

Whats interesting is that the turtle should not have been in the lake that it was found. It is native to North Carolina and not Arizona. We are now wondering how the heck it might have gotten there. LOL.

My day....it started at 5 a.m. I woke up happy and chipper as always. I took my time and got ready for work. I got to work at 7 and did my workout until 9. At 9 we had to wait for Gunny and find out what we had to do today. We went and took care of what had to be done and I was home before 11 a.m. My day was going great. Then my wife picked up my son from school only to find out he was a terror all day long. No more toys for him. I shall not stress over him though. Days just get better all the time. But hey....everyday is a good day if you wake up of the morning.

Well my day today is a little bit tiresome. Its actually Monday here and as of now I have just returned home from my office. It is perhaps because of Monday sickness wherein Saturday and Sunday has no work and its quite a relaxing weekend. So basically, its a little bit a slow start. Although I have accomplished much in so far as my work is concerned. Generally, the day is productive but a little bit tiresome.

Mondays can be a little difficult, especially after having several days off. I hope the rest of your week is better.

I understand. It can be very difficult when a baby is teething. I hope your baby feels better soon and you get some much deserved rest.

My Saturday was GREAT!!!
My daughter wrestles and she took regional champion in her wrestling bracket!! She and everyone here is sooo excited...
of course the six hours sitting in the car is killing my back... and of course sitting at the tournament ALL day did n ot help...
It all was worth it...
Hey... fish and turtles are fun! LOL we usually have the big ole bitting turtles that come around and htey live in the bathtub for a couple days... then I get upset cause kids need a bath... so it is time for him to go back to the pond! LOL
we use to always have a fish tank in the house when the kids were smaller... now.. NO one wants to clean it... so it is gone and sitting in storage for the next treasure to come home.

How exciting that your daughter made regional champion. Congratulations. I got an email from my ex regarding my daughter who is 9. She's playing basketball for the first time and he attended her game. When she made a basket he jumped and yelled "Did you see that, did you see that?" and then immediately asked "Does anyone have a a tissue?". I just wish I could have been there. The turtle capture is interesting, because its not the kind of turtle that is native from Arizona. Its actually found in North Carolina, so how it got into the lake where they were fishing is a mystery. Have a wonderful Sunday.

Clearly better than yours! The last time we went to a pet store we made the mistake of starting with 2 fish and before we knew it we had 114 fish. Yes the girl fish popped out 112 babies all in one "litter" and although they were adorable, that really is too big a family for me.

Yes, my day wasn't the absolute best. Fish are some of the things they brought home from the pet store. Either they need not to have a "litter" or the turtle needs to learn to eat really fast. LOL.

I really had a great day today! My boo, sister and I went out and brought Ginger, my dog, along with us. We were suppose to shop for some stuffs for my dog but decided to do it tomorrow instead. Ginger is now asleep. Probably tired from running and goofing around.

I had a normal Sunday morning. I woke up at a decent hour and missed breakfast. I always miss breakfast on Sundays cos I sleep late the night before. I attended the 10:20am mass with my family. We ate out for lunch and then did the groceries together. I was even able to buy the book I needed for one of my classes. And now I'm home. I took a nap for like 30 minutes then logged into Mylot. I'm still here right now and at the same time I'm trying to fix our printer. It has been acting strange today always disappearing on me. My hands are all covered in ink now.

Well it doesn't sound too good if your hands are covered in ink. You couldnt have slept as late as me. I didn't get up until about 11 this morning, which is really unusual for me. I'm used to getting up much earlier. I hope you get your printer fixed.

My day was pretty good. Hubby worked an overtime shift today so I stayed home with our son and did crafts. We did a few Easter and Valentines Crafts and then when he was playing with his toys I worked on some plastic canvas. I should of cleaned up more of the house but being 34 weeks pregnant I really dont want to do much of anything lol

I'm in Arizona too and yes, the day was beautiful. Which part of Arizona do you live in. I'm in Phoenix.
