Married men having virtual wives on a internet game.

I play Second Life, and pretty much this is why I hadn't been on here in a bit. The thing about it that disturbs me a bit is the number of married men who enter into relationships in the game. Glancing around and various profiles to see that someone is "married" in the game but you read their real life bit and see they are married in real life and this isnt the person they are married to in the game.... Same goes with guys that are constantly trying to pick up on me. Read into the profile and they have a wife and children at home. One of these men had only told me he had children in RL which doesn't really mean anything status wise. Then he sends me a RL picture.... and what is that shiny gold band on the left ring finger? Perhaps he forgot about that. Anyway I was wondering, isn't it cheating in some way? I mean sure there is no physical contact.... unless they want to meet in RL but just the idea of sharing intamcy even online, to me feels like cheating and I wanted nothing to do with that guy from that point on.
