I live in Sydney Australia.
I have been to Daytona Beach, I have been to
Orlando twice , and I have driven all the way from
Daytona Beach to Tampa.
The hotel I stayed in at Orlando was called at that time, THE INTERNATIONAL.
It would be helpful if you can speak Spanish.
All the employees speak to you in Spanish.
It is not far from a Terrific Restaurant
that caters for SEAFOOD.
It is not far from THE WATER WORKS.
The make the best FISH CHOWDER in the U S A.
Have a goos look at DISNEYWORLD and EPCOT.

Daytona and Orlanda have a huge hotel base so most are good. Stick with the big name hotel chains and you won't be disappointed. As far as food most reputable hotels have good restaurants in them. Your hotel stay all depends on how much you are going to be there? Is it just a place to sleep, shower and keep your stuff? If so save your money and stay in a cheaper hotel and keep your money for the fun and attractions. If going to disney, universal or seaworld they have vacation packages that offer many good deals so look there to if you are planning a theme park visit. Hope this information helps you out on your trip.
