We want to have some puppies!

My sister's dalmatian, Beauty is on her heat season these days. We're trying to couple her with our pet Casper, a Japanese Spitz. But he doesn't seem to be interested in her at all. He hates it whenever she chases him around and he growls at her each time she tries to play around with him. He doesn't like her at all. The funny thing is that in our own home, he always likes to go on top of the pillows! Can anyone tell me what we can do to make Beauty more attractive to Casper than the pillows? We want to have some puppies! LOL!

It could be that she isn't in full season just yet. Alot of times, the male won't want anything to do with the female until she is in full cycle. I'd keep giving it a try, as she seems to be friendly towards him. Let him get used to the idea for a few more days, and see what happens. If that doesn't work, you can speak to your vet about artificial insemination. They do it for dogs too. The cost varies, but you could give that a try if all else fails.
