Do You Afford to Leave Your Family?

At the age of eighteen I had to. There was no other way , there was no work to be had. I arrived in LONDON with 8 pounds in my pocket and one suitcase. What else is there to do ?

the almighty dollar very nearly tore my young family apart. for example, when my son was first born i thought there is no way i'l let him grow up the way i did(which was dirt poor)so i used to drive 2 hours to work, work a 12hr shift then drive 2hr back home, 6 days a week. i did this for the first year of his tiny life, yes i made very good money but i missed out on more important things than bloody money. i missed the fisrt year of my sons life which is worth more then all the money in the world....

I think that has been very common here-they necessarily dont have to break but all the while the other partner is away, this one is busy dishing the goods away to poachers-when the real owner comes back, they get diseased and then you wonder what gain has there been trying to look for the almighty dollar only to return home into the arms of your diseased partner? Crazy this dollar stuff!

In my part is very hard to leave your family just because you needed to go out to earn better for the children's future and I am really battling for my Homesickness but it is more hard if I would see my children that i cannot give them what they need and what they need especially for the School needs so I choose to leave them even it is very the hardest part of my life......
