With the number of channels you have with your cable TV, how many channels do you actually tune in to? Are you even aware of the channels available on your tv provided by your cable operator? I mean, with all those channels from 1 to about or more than 100, I do not know if you could manage to memorize the channels or even watch all those shows. I watch my favorite shows from about 10-15 channels only.

Out of the how many cable channels we have on our tv, I would say we watch about 15 different channels, ranging from sports, news, childrens tv programs, movie channels and tv program type series. At the moment we get all those channels through a deal we have going with our cable provider. If we cut a few then we lose out on others. My husband doesn't like the thought of cutting his sports channels as thats were most of our charges are from LOL

Let's see now...I watch my local network channels, ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC and occasionally PBS. Then there's the news networks - MSNBC, CNN, CNN Headline News and even Fox for a good laugh or to check out what the enemy's doing. I can't forget Lifetime, Sci-Fi, Hallmark, TBS, TNT, FMC, AMC and TMC. Also, the various educational channels such as Discovery, The Food Network, Animal Planet and of course, my only pay channel HBO, all dozen or so of them. Oops, almost forgot Speed and ESPN especially during race season. I guess I make good use of my Cable, don't I? And there's still often nothing on!

I love the idea of having lots of available channels since this provides me a lot of choices. I frequently tune in to local channels. However, local channels normally sign-off at 12 midnight or a little later than that. So if I am not yet asleep, I look for other channels where I can watch good shows until I finally get to sleep.

I am always complaining about how many channels we have and still at times there is NOTHING on....lol. I personally don't use all the channels- but I do watch quite a few. I love History Channel, Discovery Channel, Biography Channel, The local channels 3,6,10,, Fox 29 the most I would have to say. My favorites list on my cable box only consists of my HD channels though.
