hi Everyone, I read that so many of us are writing for blogs and I wonder, when you are stuck in blogging, when there is no inspiration to write, where do you usually seek for a new inspiration for the next article or post for your blog? are you reading the others' blogs or do you read any other source from newspapers, magazines, or watching TVs or anything? or you just wait until one great idea comes again into your mind?

hi, that's good to hear that. yes, now I notice it. sometimes our close friends, boyfriend / girlfriend or family's correspondence messages will bring more inspiration about what we can talk next in our blogs. that is also one good source to dig. thanks for your input! ^_^

what's matter most is that these persons inspire us i a good way, not in a negative way. .that will make us think more appropriately..

I mostly write beauty stuff on my blog. If I am stuck, I would watch some related channels or read some magazines about the latest trends or something I don't know about. I agree that from time to time, I don't seem to have things to write on my blog anymore. But that depressing thought doesn't seem to stay for long *smiles*.

hi, thanks for coming and responding. ^_^
beauty stuff usually has a lot of topic to talk. you can also review some products or trends and yes, magazines will give you a lot of input for your blog since you have this topic it will be easy to find inspiration from magazines. well, you can expand your blog to talk about some tips on using beauty stuff or perhaps giving your own suggestion to readers of your blog related to this topic. this is a great topic to talk and to expand. that's what I see it on your site.^_^ you have a beautiful site. ^^

hi diansinta ^_^
I've just started blogging for around six months, as far as I remember. I only have few contents within the blog until now, and the layout still needs a lot of improvements. *grinning*
However, I would need some input about the layout. I'm still designing the new layout, but I feel the need to put more content first and when the new layout is ready, I would also upload the template. Actually I have the blog's URL at my profile page, it is potentialact.com :p

Well, you are an intelligent person and you can solve that easily by awaking the genius inside you.
You have already mentioned some ways. Another way I can suggest is to look deep inside you and determine the reasons for writing a blog.

thanks for the compliment. :) I guess you're right that by looking deep inside ourselves we can dig more for writing. I also mentioned that indirectly in my article since by digging inside ourselves will result more original articles writing. :) thank you for giving your comment. ^_^

To get ideas for my blog (computer tech links in my mylot profile), I read my subscribed e-mails from popular bloggers like dosh dosh and skelliewag. I also visit article directories (where I have articles) to get a bit of inspiration...

hi. yes, Dosh Dosh is a great blog. I also one of their regular visitors. Article directories also help to bring us more inspiration, and yes, sometimes when I rest from my blogging activity I will visit these sites to see what topics are recently hot in the blogging and article directories.
thank you for your response. :)

well, i don't have that problem since i only publish things in my blog when i have something to blog about.. i don't force myself to write anything unless something's provoking me.. that way, the things i'll be writing about will be coming deep within and it'll have a huge impact (well, at least on my opinion).. hehe.. but if you really want to write then just let your mind flow freely/.. write about the first thing that comes to your mind and just keep writing.. you'll be surprised where you'll end up.. happy writing!

Hard to admit but it's a mixed theme from life, online earning and writing, mostly about some tips based on my experiences or the others'. Well, not really a "how to" or advice articles, but somekind like that.

Hi posham. :)
Well that’s good if you have no rush for the blog articles, but sometimes if the visitors found out that my blog had not been updated for more than two weeks, that would be a problem for me. LOL.
But indeed, something that provokes us would also have good writing results. Usually I found the inspiration in some forums, and my latest blog article was inspired by some discussions in myLot (as I found out some people didn’t learn any site’s TOS when they joined the site, so I felt the need to write this topic on my blog). But sometimes the inspiration would get dry. I try to stick the maximum two weeks to not update my blog, or the visitors would assume I had stopped blogging.

You can listen to the radio as often you get ideas to write about there on the news and information and talk show stations.
You can talk with someone about every day life and from that conversation gain ideas about what to write or even ask your friend for ideas.

Yeah, radios sometimes would give inspiration too, especially the talk shows or the information exchange between the crew and the listeners. That’s right.
Conversation between friends would also add more inspiration for the topics. Sometimes when I had something to add to the conversation, I would also write it in my blog.
