How to help my sister

My sister became a widow three years ago at the age of 31,her husband hung himself in there home after a night out.she is now in a new relationship and a new home,she still gets very upset, i try to help but i feel like saying "get over it" she looks to me for comfort as her boyfriend does not talk to her about it as he feels she should be happy now,how do i help her . ?????????????

I think being there, just listening or being by your sister's side would mean a lot. If you don't believe in God, then believe that everything happens for a reason. We might be blamed for things that happened in our lives but we will live balming ourselves, then we will never be happy. We must learn to forgive ourselves first then let go and move on.
The BF might find it uneasy discussing this things with your sister because he has his ego to protect. It would be hard for the guy to see his girl having a hard time moving on because of his ex. No matter what we say, when your sister started her relationship with her new bf, she must have considered it as a new beginning. It's ok to cry once in a while but she must also consider that there will now be other people who would feel more devasted if she is like that.
