i enjoyed the song "desperado" many years ago, but i didn't know who is the singer. today i google this song on the internet and i find out 3 performers: eagles, carpenters, westlife. but all theirs are not my version. could you tell who is the first singer of "desperado" ? thank you!

The Eagles were the first to release Desperado, I believe. Don Henely sings the song.
