At the church I love to go to the classroom and visit the children they are so enthusiastic, you can be having a really rough day but 5 seconds into that room and your overcome with joy and happiness. the other day I got up from my desk and walked from my office to the class room and as I entered the teacher said one of the boys has a question he wanted to ask me, and I know the answer I gave him, but I want to see how some of you would answer. here is his question "Does Jesus Love the Devil" I look forward to hearing your answers,

I always get that one wrong! You'd think I'd learn... (Maybe I'll remember now!) It's verse 20.

Hey Jimmy, I recognize you from Yuwie, I think? It's me, Mary. :) Anyway, yes, Jesus loves Satan. Satan was originally an angel of light, God created the angels. Angels are not perfect, because they are creations of God, just like humans are. Angels were created to be creatures who glorified God and praised Him endlessly. Lucifer (the angel of Light) made the mistake of trying to be equal to or greater than God, and so he was cast into darkness, just as we humans live in darkness when our sin separates us from God. Satan knows God. Satan knows Jesus, who is God and who is the Son of God, and who is the Savior given by God to redeem us from our sins by His blood. Anyone who accepts the blood sacrifice that Jesus made can be saved. Jesus (God) loves us all, even if we do not accept Him or the gift of Jesus' blood. Satan knows full well what the gift is, but he will never accept it. He will never be forgiven without accepting the gift of salvation, but he is still a creature of God, and God loves him just like He loves all of us, even though we are all sinners. God is certainly saddened by the dark kingdom Satan rules, but as a parent is saddened by a deliquent child, so His love for Satan does not stop as that parent's love for the child does not stop.
