Is there anything really free on the internet?

So what have you gotten for free on the Internet? Did you have to pay for shipping and was it a reasonable amount? Did you have to give up personal information and receive a barrage of email ads?
I used to get free stuff when I ordered from catalogs but seldom have that happen when I make purchases on line.
What I really want is something that is really free! What do you think my chances are?

here's the thing there r alot of sites out there with free stuff u just gotta look for them, as far as ur info u share with them well id say u either post ur address or someone elses u can get ur stuff at cuz its well worth it in the last 2 months i've received over $200.00 worth of stuff no catch. Please check out my message board and join thats what we're all about bringin freebies to each other, and theres even a proof area for some of the sites that we know r legit... hope to see u there.

I get a lot of samples free from a walmart site or a sampling site. There were a few discussions on here quite recently on freebies. If you search that, you'll find them. Sorry, but I can't cut and paste on here yet or I'd put down the links. I have some nice samples coming my way right now. No shipping and handling, just free...Whit
