Sorry Recipient Does Not Allow Forwards

As far as email goes, there is nothing that annoys me more then forwards. Except maybe the relative or friend who sends you the same forward nine times because they received it nine times. I wish my email would allow me to set auto responses for this type of mail that would say "Recipient Does Not Allow Forwards -- Message Undeliverable". Telling them alone doesn't seem to cut it. I don't want to ban my family from my inbox but I loathe the sight of forwards almost enough to do so. What do you think? Do you like email forwards? Do you wish your email allowed this sort of auto response? Does your email have this sort of option? If so, let me know about it!

They sure are. I mean a few from someone who's really thinking they are going to cheer you up is fine I guess. It's just when my inbox gets full of them I get a bit peeved. lol

Yeah i know what you mean. As the person at the top pointed out when you have everyones email addresses on can be a pain, because if a spammers gets that then everyone recieves the same email! ... I agree with you there =] Also, I hate the stupid threat chain letters, like you pointed out, send this to everyone in your address book or a masked man will stab you at 9 tonight! ... and whats even better is when you get the chain letter which says, send to .... or a man will kill you at 9 tonight, and its like half 10 at night already! lol

Exactly, like the ones that say "send to 20 people or you'll have bad luck". I don't have 20 people in my contact list so, I guess I'm doomed for bad luck.

I guess the fact that if they forward something to you and you can see other people's emails that it came from, then that means if you send them something someone else is getting your email. Then that would be a reason to dislike forwards.

There are ways around showing everyones email address. My main problem with forwards is that they often chain mails telling me that if I don't send them to 20 people in the next 30 minutes my closet will harbor fugitive killer clowns.

I mean the "FW:FW:FW:FW: cute cat pictures!" or "FW:FW:FW: This is awesome read it!" That contains some sort of "if you love America, Jesus and your family you'll send this to everyone you know".
