Living in another era

I have always felt drawn to many era's like medieval, victorian, colonial eras. However I would rather live in the 1930's or 40's because life seemed so much nicer. I mean sure you had the war and depression but its ten times worse today. At least back then people sat at the table and spent time together, kids were more well behaved, and yes couples seemed to love and respect each other more.

I am drawn to the forties but not of course the war. I feel that men and woman were more romantic in thoes days and I loved the fashion for woman. Men making all the decisions though, nuh that is not for me.
