Thank you to all of my wonderful friends here for being so kind, loving and support through all of the trials and tribulations leading up to my surgery. And also thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers during the big day. You are all such awesome friends. I just finished reading all of the responses to my discussion I posted the day before I went into the hospital. I didn't respond there, since the big event already happened, but I want you all to know how very much appreciated you really are. You are the best friends ever, and I wouldn't give you up for the world. Lots of love, hugs, and smooches to all of you! Carryl

Thanks GOD all went ok for you. i have also found mylot friends are very much supportive. I am also very much concerned about my dad's health. the biopsy report is due. i am very very tensed about it. hope all will pray here for my dad and us as well.

Awwww Carryl! You're most welcome my friend!! That's what friends are suppose to do! Love, support, lend an ear or shoulder or a helping hand, etc, etc. You're gratitude is all we'll ever need!! Besides hearing that you're getting well and soon to be on your feet once again!

Welcome to Mylot hon. And thank you for stopping in and responding. I really appreciate it. Just in case you're wondering, the surgery I had was the Rouxen-Y gastric bypass, and everyone here has been absolutely wonderful in helping me get through it all. Thank you so much for your encouragement.

Thank you hon. I'm actually feeling really good right now. I just got back from about a mile long walk. I wasn't intending to go that far, but oh well. My next appointment is on April 2nd. I'm hoping to show a big weight loss on their scale that day. LOL!

You are so very welcome, and I'm thankful that things are going well with your recovery. This is such a great site for meeting 'dear friends,' and feeling that there's a place to go where we can share, and be given support, and a smile or laugh too, when we need it. Take care.

So glad to hear from you Katlady...and glad to know your "mending" I bet you're glad the hard part, the surgery is over with and now you can sit back (if it doesn't hurt to much) and relax. You must be going a tad bonkers though not being at the computer much though..know I would, but think you mentioned it did hurt to sit for long periods of time??
My prayers are still with you for your complete healing..(((hugs)))
