The Grammys

I don't usually watch the award shows, but, since there was nothing much else on tonight, I decided to watch the Grammy Awards. The show was predictable in many ways. As often is the case, they saved the best for last. For me, the highlights of the show was the Rhapsody in Blue number ans The tribute to Pavarotti. I thought it was a nice touch to include so many older performers in the show. If you watched the show what were the high points for you?

The very highest point for me was seeing Tina Turner. She is fabulous. Maybe I am partial since she's from our area. What a very talented, great performer. I know she's in her late 60's or early 70's now and if I were to dance and shake like she did last night, I'd be in the hosital today. If I simply wore the heels she wore I'd be in misery today.

Well, carolbee, I've always heard that the rich are different. I think anyone with access to a large sum of money can afford to age gracefully.

To tell the truth I only saw the last part of Rhapsody in Blue, Brothers and Sisters was on a commerical break.I forgot the Grammys were on.
