..but which do you prefer when using a mouse for your desk top or lap tops, a cordless mouse or one that still has its cord connected to your computer?
Any experiences that you might share on the advantages and disadvantages of the two?
I'm currently using an optical mouse that seems to be cordless but the pad that it comes with is connected to the computer so, I think its still a corded mouse. How about you guys?

I prefer a corded optical mouse. I am big into computer gaming and the top gaming mouses (that is the proper plural for a computer mouse btw) are corded because a corded mouse will have better response times. I don't like cordless because most have to be charge or use batteries. Also I find that the connection between the cordless mouse and the compture is lost quite often. So I'll be sticking with the corded mouse till the next revolution of mouse comes around.

I used to have a cordless mouse. But when I was chatting with my keypal abed,it fell onto the floor and was broken. Now I use one with its cord connectted to my laptop, and I never worry whether the awful thing will happen again...

i have a cordless mouse for my laptop. and its great. i don't like the mouses with the ball underneath because it gets really hard to use after you've had it for a while. and corded, the cord just gets in the way. my cordless mouse is a logitech, and it has an invisible optic. its so good that i can use it on my bed and it still works fine, and in my leg with my pants on and it works great. and it doesn't need a mouse pad. i got it from best buy. its called logitech V220 cordless optical. it comes in a couple different colors, and its about 30 sum dollars. my mom went to get one and someone had just returned one so it was only about 13 dollars. but it is worth the money. i think you should check it out.

It sure is difficult to clean mouses with ball underneath since they collect dust most of the time. I too often have a hard time when I see the cables behind our computer get tangled up.
Legs.. Bed.. (pun can be intended with these two) wow it still works even with those two as surfaces..
I'll try to look it up in the net then ^_^ I just hope that its available here as well as affordable like the way you got it ^_^

I have been using a cordless mouse (hp) for the last four years.
Yes, I prefer the cordless ones.
One thing however, they have a habit of using a lot of batteries power.
I recommend you invest in a batteries recharger together with about eight batteries.
I know it only uses two, but you need another two for the keyboard.
In this way you never run out of charged batteries.
