Always remember to NOT TO DIET and just eat well and exercise. Eat alot of lean meat, fruits and vegetables. Cut out the heavy sugar ladden stuff, especially sodas. I cut out sodas. I only drink them occasionally when I go out. I lost about 10 pounds cutting alot of sugar products out off my diet. Always remember to take vitamins and eat fiber as well.

I don't drink soda much. And I do eat good I just haven't seemed to loose the weight I would like to loose. I know my diet has room for improvement though.

Hey there....
personally I would do Atkin's for a short term weight loss. I had a Lap Band surgery last summer and my doctor required me to be on the Atkin's for two weeks before surgery because it also shrinks your liver (the liver can ecome very fatty. I lost 16 lbs in two weeks just from that.
I wouldn't recommend Atkin's for a long term solution, because your body needs good carbs. Exercize is important, as always, but the diet will work alone. You could even do it for two weeks, skip a couple weeks (while watching what you eat) and then 'jog' your metabolism by doing it again for a couple of weeks.
Good luck and have a nice prom.

I have a small handbook on the Atkin's diet but it only lists foods and there count. Could you give me a bit more information on it please.

Toss in some more info & I bet the good folks here could make some helpful suggestions...
Like how much weight R U trying 2 lose in 61 days. A little or a lot?
Do U exercise? A little or a lot? It'll B easier to help U...
Combine diet & exercise in moderation & U can lose quite a bit safely..
C if that helps...
Several years ago I dropped about 45 lbs. over the course of a year through eating better, exercising more, & learning portion control...& haven't gained it back.
