do you have any good tips or techniques for helping with depression. I sometimes find myself sinking into my own little world and taking my children for granted. At one point I sort of woke up to the world around me and realized that they were two years older! 2 years that I missed out on!

i've learned to do something as an outlet to release my depression. if i'll keep myself sank into depression nothing good would come out from it. find an outlet for that and learn to express it alone for just a few hours or the most a day.
you'll see that everyone is not affected.

Well depression is common in this busy world..though its bitter fact. So dont take it emotional to heart and try to come out of the past. Please dont give up confidence. Do yoga, you will feel a great heal and confidence. God bless you friend! Things will be better soon, dont give up.

A lot of times depression is caused from a lack of vitamins that our body needs. We need vitamin supliments in addition to eating right. One thing that helped me was Vitamin B Complex. It really helps give our body what we need to fight depression. I personally started taking double the amount of what the bottle said and it really did wonders for me. The person that posted above me also has very good points and ideas about the nutrition and exercise and the other things they said. But the vitamin B complex is something that many people overlook.

hi, I have been in depression few years ago. I do agree that it is difficult to cope with. well, you should start going out sometimes, even if you do walk alone, but the outdoors might help you to light up your mind, plus seeing other people's lives might bring more feedback for coping with your own depression. also, vitamins will be helpful for one or another way, but don't keep focusing on yourself, the more you sink into yourself, the more you become depressed. paying attention to totally new outside places will somehow help you to get strong in overcoming depression.

Whenever you get depressed,do this. Take your socks off, look at your big toe, and try to think how this will help you.My grandmother gave me this remedy, and though it felt really stupid in the beginning, it did help me a lot.For starters ,whenever I found myself doing this ,I couldn't help laughing.By the way,I still do not know how this works. If you find out, please tell me.
