Not in a discussion I've started...but it does happen to me sometimes when I am posting a comment to some discussion. I just go back and leave another comment then...apologizing and making myself clear.
But sometimes myLot has a problem and when I have 2 discussions open, the picture I post to one discussion goes to the other window that is open. At first I thought it was my mistake and I chose the wrong window...but I started checking properly later and it still happened twice. I thought my pictures weren't going through but they were going to other discussions. In fact, one person asked me what the pic was about because it didn;t make sense to that particular discussion and it was then that I noticed and apologized for the mistake and explained things to the myLotter.

Most definately. The most mundane of blog sites have ways to edit your posts, even add bold, underline, etc... changing color of the fonts. It is definately not something that is new around the internet and yet MyLot seems unwilling to adopt such a simple task that would help so many.
Add a spell-checker in with that... as the post is going through if there are misspelled words they are highlighted and then you can change the post or if you want the spelling the way it is you just continue... much like e-pinions that has been using that for YEARS....
It just......... makes sense.
Thanks
Zelo

Bala! I sometimes do exactly what you have written. I try to write to my reply/comments quickly and in the process sometimes I commit silly typos mistakes. I feel that we should be more careful while posting our replies and comments so that the same may not be misunderstood by the host of the discussion. But you know old habits die hard...LOL!
Images take time to upload, so usually I do not upload them.

Oh God yes, I've done that loads of times. Have responded to a discussion and then realised I hadn't said all that I wanted to say. You would not believe (or maybe you would LOL) how many times I've hit post response without adding an image when I wanted to and then wanted to kick myself because I had what I thought was the perfect image to go with my response! My husband says I always rush things too much and sometimes when typing on myLot I guess I really do reflect my real life behaviour! x

Thanks for the BR pal, isn't it quite funny how our online behaviour really does reflect real life, if we're being ourselves online? x

I tend to do this when I have lots of windows open at once and I flick from one to the other, I find it far better to concentrate on the job at hand rather than three or four sites at the same time, but I am careful about typos and it also depends on the frame of mind I am in, I do take care that my responses are in English, if I think about it my responses are much better than my discussions that I start! Don't ask me why, that's why I much prefer to respond to others than start my own discussions. Oh and I nearly always forget to add an image, but that's more to do with my laziness.

I do that most of the times. Its not that I am careless but most of the time I am in a hurry. Initially It was very hard for me to recover for once we submit we just have had it! I am more or less a perfectionist and you can imagine the after math. However, having said that, I do the typos even now (and I am sure most do that) but the guilt is not that much nowadays. The reason being my attitude. Bala, my attitude towards life has changed quite a bit in one year. What's more important is to get to the core, touching the soul and heart and not just have a flowery show of words which hardly cater to your inside.
Mylot is fun and we should try and get that essence and never take it too far with either graver, unhealthy issues or little little surface things like typos or forgotten images.
So horrid typos? Forgotten image? Mixing up things? never mind. Just have fun. Be happy.

Hi Mimpi! While trying to touch the core of things you just cannot help getting carried away and pour out your heart freely to the onewho understand you.In short one must be sincere and true to his heart in whatever he says here without any inhibitions and airs. You have to be accepted as what your are with all your qualities .That is great friendship.I am lucky to have friends like you .I am with every word you said.Because I know that Mimpi means business.

Bala,
today I am in a mood for length and so pls do not take it otherwise even if I sound lengthy and boring. Days like this seldom come when we have both the time and intention. And let me tell you its because of friends like you that I can actually vent out my blabbers. How can you not take those?
You will have to no matter what.

Yep! Well either that or my little graphic says it all! Some of you may want to borrow it---feel free! But, seriously, just call me the 'typo queen'! Yep, I preview, but I don't really know where my mind goes to sometimes, because after I have posted, I have seen some horrid typos, in topic titles and everything. I have already posted asking for forgiveness frpm fellow mylotters. It gets enbarrassing and I one of my goals is to slow downand double read posts before sending. Thanks for asking this!

I do this all of the time because I am in such a rush to visit with Mylot and all of my other sites evrey day as well. sometimes I go back and add things to a response but we can't make changes to the discussion, which is very bad for us.
