Do you have your own personal mission statement? If none, I encourage everybody here to start making one. One is never too old or too busy to make one. According to Bill Fitzpatrick, 'a mission statement will help you to establish a foundation upon which you can build your dreams and goals and from which will flow your objectives and daily to-do lis'. It as a sort distant beacon that affects our daily actions and decisions.
My personal mission statement is: To be the best person that I can be as God wants me to be. To be able to use my God give abilities to touch as many lives as possible and leave a lasting legacy.
How about you? Come share your personal mission statement.

hi cdparazo! ^__^
i don't have any personal mission statement as serious and noble as yours but if we're talking about missions, honestly, i don't have any particular mission in life. ^__^;; i don't even know exactly what my purpose is. sometimes i even ask myself why i was born and what was i before i was born or would it even matter if i wasn't born. it gets scary when i start thinking about these things. .

I never really thought about it,but I would think mine would be somewhere in the area of trying to reduce pollution and get mother earth back to a natural and healthy balance. One of the reasons why I love my job, because it makes me feel like I am helping that progress along. I encourage people to recycle and to be energy efficient.

You have a very great and noble mission statement and very specific too. I know that a lot of people are just mouthing all those recycling and save mother earth statements but are not really doing something really concrete about it. I am glad that you are one of those who really acts on it and is even now working for it. Thanks for sharing!

I have always had the one throughout my childhood, one that my mother taught me. Do your best in everything you strive to do, a simple but effective mission statement. Even if I try and fail well at least I have tried, if I fail then I can learn by my mistake and move on. If I have given my best and it hasn't worked out well I can't fault myself. I also believe that behaviour breeds behaviour in that if you are nice to people they are nice back, be horrible to people and you will receive the same response.

Hi cdparazo! "Seize the day! Make the best out of each day and be the best I can be. To show kindness and if there will be sufferings, let it be not go to waste and try to learn from it. And to make God proud of me even how little I did to please Him!" I think i have been trying to live with that ever since I learn about God on a personal level. And that is I think my personal mission statement. Just my thoughts. Take care and have a nice day! :)

I don't know that it's a mission statement as such but I want to emigrate to canada and settle there with my family and in the process, I want to touch as many lives as possible, making each and every person smile at least once.
That's just me though lol and I've never been known for complete sanity ;)
