Pau Gasol is now playing for the Lakers. Can they develop a good chemistry or working relationship with Bryant to go all the way to the championship?

I think that when the lakers made a move for one of my favorate players, Pau Gasol, they made a move to enter as a legit competitor in the playoffs.
Gasol will not be merely another piece, but a major one. Pau was the franchise player of the grizz, and the lakers snatched him up for what equals to nothing.
Now with a roster of Fish, Kobe, Odom, Gasol, and in due time Bynum, this is a team to be feared.

I can already see that the lakers are getting
better results from the gasol trade. They no longer have to worry about just kobe mainly like teams use to. They got a functional team now. I wouldn't be suprised to see them in the finals or win a title this year or next.

Gasol is a smart player and he love to win games. Now that he is out of Memphis he is happier and more motivated to play. He doesn't need to take the pressure in carrying a team anymore and so is Kobe. Gasol is a great addition and will be a very valuable asset for the Lakers dream of another championship.

I don't think anything's too early to tell; the Los Angeles Lakers are already playing so well even without Andrew Bynum on the active roster and that only shows that this team can only get better upon his return. For these Lakers, the future is now and what lies ahead is even brighter, what with their youngsters developing so much over every game that they play. I agree that they are major contenders for the championship trophy this year, and it's all thanks to Pau Gasol's addition.
You are right: the working chemistry between Kobe Bryant and Gasol is earning dividends for their franchise, and even scarier is the fact that they're only going to get better from this point on.

Pau Gasol does not only complement Kobe Bryant but he fits in with Andrew Bynum and Lamar Odom, as well. The Lakers really have created a formidable lineup with either Derek Fisher or Jordan Farmar manning the point, and evident in Bryant's decision to play through an injury to his pinkie (something he was advised to take to surgery) is the fact that they're gunning for the championship this year. There's no more waiting for the future to come. The future is now, that's the mentality the Lakers rightfully have right now.
