playmat loving puppy!!!

WEll my pup has been home now for about 3 days since I got him late friday evening.. All who know me know I have 5 kids which I talk about on here. LOL!! Well I was in the basement and found a baby play mat that I had for my kids. You know the one that has the mirror on it the crinkle thingy and the rattle and it's big enough for the baby to lay on while they play. LOL!!Well I washed it and brought it upstairs and gave it to the puppy, who adores the mirror and the crinkly thingy .. Who'd of thunk it. LOL!!! He drag this play mat with him around and then lays on it and punces on the crinkly thing and yips at the other puppy which is him. LOL !!! But I have never thought that a puppy would have so much fun with a toy designed for a baby.
So what do you think is my pup strange or should they start making these for puppies. LOL!!! Have you ever tried this?

I don't think it's strange at all, Bella. Puppies and kittens love to see themselves in mirrors. And the crinkly thing gives him something to make noise with - like something is alive, which I'm sure he finds infinitely appealing. It's fun just thinking about him, Bella, and how much of a riot he must be. I'm suffering some jealousy here, you know. I'd so love to have a dog, but hubby's put his foot down about it. Yeah, like that matters to me! If it comes up, which I somehow know that it will, that I run across a puppy or kitten that needs a home, specifically my home, I'll bring it home and deal with him (hubby) later. He was very unhappy about my bringing Nova home, but he got over it. I'm so glad you're having such a good time with Frost. He's got a great mommy!

How about this Nova when Frost is old enough I will be studing him out and I will be actually asking for the pick of the litter for the first two stud fees. LOL! How about you come up here and you can pick a Siberian husky when I stud him out and the puppies are born? :) That way you have a fully paperable puppy with Full AKC registration ..Free. Just what it cost you to come pick out the pup and what it cost you to come and pick him up when the pup is ready. LOL!!How can your hubby argue a dog worth 1000 for free. LOL!!! You know I love you.

At least frost is having fun with it and its put to good use! i bet it doesnt' last long though! i dont think baby toys are made for puppy teeth!! *giggleS*

Your puppy sounds adorable. i think a play mat for puppies is a great idea. I hope you hit it big. Just keep a watch on him that he doesn't tear it up and swallow any of the parts. Those puppy teeth are sharp.

Wow! Cutie! So how is Frost now? My pup loves it in my car. When she hears the alarm beep when I open the car, she runs towards it and wait for me to open the door. Once opened, she jumps in and lies down. She also knows when it's time to get off the car. Once the engine stops, she stands up, wags her tail and once I open the door, she jumps off the car and wait for me to tie the leash on her. Really cute! I hope I could get a toy like Frost's for Ginger, my pup.

Frost is doind well he is adjusting to puppy life at home well and loves attacking the kids. LOL!!! I think that frost is the most spoiled pup that I know. LOL !!! I canabalized a baby playmat for my puupy ypu might want to do that for your's.
