There aren't that many ways. Making your own website creates very little revenue unless it goes viral. Most sites that pay you to use them don't pay you enough money to make it a reliable source of income (but if you like it and get paid, it is a great bonus). If you program, Kongregate.com could be a good option, but most mediocre games only make a few dollars.
