What/Who inspires you to work?

I'm single, and everyday I feel like I'm being more discouraged to go to work. I'm not sure why. But I feel like I need some inspiration to feel good about working, just like how I felt when I first entered this job. Any suggestions?

I have kids to it is easy for me to be inspired by them go get my butt out of bed every day and go into work. But if I was single and didn't have kids then I would look for something I wanted like a new purse or a new pair of shoes to give me the inspiration to get up and go to work so I could afford them.

Either you need to have a break from work, as for time off and treat yourself to a holiday or ask if you can take on new resposibilities at your work. Maybe you're not as enthusiatic about your job because you simply don't enjoy doing it anymore and in that case maybe you should look around for something else.

I've thought about that too. I'm thinking of filing a leave of absence for a month. I'd probably visit my parents in the province. Thanks!

well inspiration shouldn't only be a partner in life, it should be a your parents or a goals in life,. for me i have my inspiration like my parents, my husband, my goals and dreams that hope to be achieve through my hard work and courage, you must not feel discourage to go work because it is for your future and no one else.. when you achieve something into yourself from your job then you will be a better person and maybe there you can met someone that migth be your inspiration through the rest of yuor life.

My family and loved ones. I have had my shares of this negative feeling too, that all i seem to do is work work work for nothing... but at the end of the day, when i get my salary and give some to my mom - i would see her sigh of relief that she'd be able to pay some of the bills, i would be happy and be contented. Sometimes, what we do may seem vague, it may seem worthless at times too... but all i think is that time will come when it will come to something bigger and more meaningful. that i am just taking things one at time right now.

do you choose your job? of you were forced to work? if thats the reasons, you will never get to love that job but if you chose it and just dont love it this time, maybe you are still adjusting to the environment and the people! make new friends and hang out with them once in a while so you will know them better and build a great friendship!

I have found that staying in the present time moment and focusing on the exact thing I am doing instead of mindlessly thinking about all the useless stuff running through my brain and finding joy in the very simplest of things, has helped me to do my work and love it and life alot more.

I often set short term goals so I could be inspired to get the job done as soon as possible. A lot of short term goals that is so after one is done, I would move to the next. Some of them would sound like: get a new watch for my brother, shoes for my sister or something that's easy to handle aside from paying bills. Of course, you could treat yourself and someone close to you ^_^ To get my mind off from work, I might get familiar with colleges and talk to them whenever possible so that nothing seems like a mundane routine. Though the performance level might go down or not, as long as nothing becomes a routine of voiceless encounters.
