I own my own business now and want to get some business credit so that I have some extra money for marketing and such. Does anyone have any ideas on the best way to go about that? Thanks in advance.

Basically if you want credit you need to see a bank. If you are registered as a sole owner of the company and it doesn't have any assets your loan must be based on either your personal assets or one great business plan. If your company does not own anything of value ie. vehicles, buildings etc. you must be able to show that your business is bringing in a sufficient amount of revenue. I would not recommend putting yourself at personal risk unless you are totally sure of your business future. If you can put together a good business plan that shows what you need the money for and how it will be profitable, you have a chance of getting a loan. I suggest visiting your local bank and finding out from them what they are looking for in a loan application.
