although we can fall out of love with a person, it seems take take much longer to fall out of them with him/her than it did to fall in love. Me and my first love parted ways over 7 years ago. And although he has done such mean and hurtful things to mean I must admit that he is someone I will never forget. He will always have a piece of my heart. But we do learn to move on and too love again after time. Although you don't have to truly forget this person.

Well the thing is its only you who can really remove her from you because at some point there is still you that wants to keep it that way. Dig deep why you want to get rid of her memories and why you want to let it stay there. Seven years is quite long why it stayed there is something you have the answer. Frogetting a person is really easy if the person wills it. There is something in you that don't want to let go that is why.

Myabe you should ask yourself why.... The reason is from within you that those memories remain from you. Maybe you should start forgiving youself or vice versa. Let go of the ill feelings about her and baout you that made the partnership fail. This are the things that hold you back from something you do not need in order for you to really move on.

wow that's way too long. a study says that an average recovery of a person from heart brokeness is up to a maximum of 6months only. but when, the person is still in your thoughts past that 6month period then it's terminal. meaning it would definitely leave a scar for so long. maybe even for the rest of your life.

I have not had the experience but I can tell you that it is difficult to get rid of the memories if you had really fallen hard. There is something still in you which would not allow you to get rid of her memories. You can just get over it by trying not to think over it or dewelling over those memories.
If you have anything that reminds you of her with you , get rid of them first. Try to do take deep breathing and change your way of thoughts. You can rid of those memories only if you take strict action over it.

I have nothing left which should remind me of her but she comes in my dreams and when I'm doing nothing, I can't control it.

Its been said that time heals all wounds, but I don't believe that this is true, it can make them heal, but i feel like the scars will always remain. It can be hard, but its better if you accept the fact that you will always remember her....
