why the hell is a person not aloud to defend there home against introders, the criminal has the wright to be safe in you home, if a english mans home is his castle why can they not defend it and how come they can sue us?

First of all, the spelling in that post was awful. Secondly, it depends where you live. In my home state, provided there is any kind of reasonable threat to your life, you have the right to kill anybody to defend yourself and your property. It isn't just some British thing, it is in America too. It is probably in your state as well (it is in most all states) you just are misinformed. The only real case where a criminal can sue for damages to you is if he drowns or nearly drowns in your swimming pool, because it is your liability and you had no proof he was a danger whenever he started drowning.

I have lived in 4 states, all of which allowed you the ability to defend your property (one said you could only kill in buildings, but besides that it was free game). Currently I live in Louisiana.

recently in england a guy killed anotherman who broke into his house and he was put in jail, fair, I don't think so, maby I should move to the states.
