I love our laws. I have two dogs. They are both German Shepherd / Husky crosses. Both of those breeds are famous for particular traits ... loyalty to their family, intelligence, strength, speed and protectiveness. Our laws state that, if an intruder were to break into my house, and my dogs were to rip them to shreds, providing I have clearly placed 'guard dog on duty' signs, I'm completely fault-free and he can't sue, charge me, or do anything other than have the police collect the pieces of him that are left over to deliver to central processing for charges.

You have a damn good point!!! We have the same problem in Canada, and I've never understood it. Right now I'm living part time in AZ, where we are allowed to carry a loaded side arm anywhere but in a bar, bank, or the courtroom, as I discovered last week. hahaha Nothing serious, just a sign on the door of the court room about leaving weapons at the door, which I found quite amuzing. Anyway, around here, if someone breaks into our house and we shoot the stupid jerk, we'll be within our rights. I never thought I'd say this but GOD BLESS THE SECOND AMMENDMENT!!!
