Intriguing Italy and Spain

One of the many intriguing things about Italy and Spain are the beggars there. I have seen beggars dressed in skin costumes resembling eagles or vultures. At times, they look like statues and I only understood they are alive! when I saw the alms bowl kept near their feet.
