Parkour (sometimes abbreviated to PK)or l'art du deplacement (the art of displacement) is an activity with the aim of moving from one point to another as efficiently and quickly as possible, using principally the abilities of the human body. It is meant to help one overcome obstacles, which can be anything in the surrounding environment - from branches and rocks to rails and concrete walls - and can be practiced in both rural and urban areas. Male parkour practitioners are recognized as traceurs and female as traceuses - answers.com If I was riding a public utility vehicle which is stuck in traffic, I might as well parkour my way out of it so I can get to the place I need to be. ^_^ It would've been nice during my school days so I wouldn't be late all the time or I could sneak in class without being caught by teachers :P How about you guys?

It is just about the coolest thing I have ever seen. personally I'm sure there is no way that my body would be able to bend tiwst or move as quickly as some of the guys I've seen but I really do find it fascinating! Wouldn't it make life more interesting if you could look out of your window and see people using it as an actual mode of transport? Just moving and jumping to get to where they wana be instead of getting stroppy coz they're late. I love it!!!

I've trained parkour for 3 years with some pauses. Unfortunately I've injured my knees so I won't be able to train for some time:(((

I hope its not as bad as taking you away from training too long For three years, you can very much leap on fences and scale buildings in a quick pace? How did you get injured by the way if you don't mind me asking..?
