Do u switch off the monitors if you are not using your computer

There was a recent survey done regd this ,even i never used to do this.. but it says keeping the monitor on consumes more than what a normal house uses per day... so watsupp with you do u switch every tym after u use it...

Ya i always use to switch of both my monitors and the speakers if they are not in use. They really save a lot of current. But the monitors which comes now consumes only less power and they automatically switch off by itself if mouse is not touched for several minutes. But i always have the habit of switching it off when its not in use.
