Is it possible to have a strong marriage that made through chatting?

I definitely think that it is possible to have a strong marriage that started through chatting, because my marriage began that way! :) My husband and I met in a random chat room years ago, and we just recently celebrated our first wedding anniversary and we are so happy together!

People marrying because of meeting in chat can be as strong as any marriage as long as they had time to be together and get to know each other. As far as foreign relationships, different cultures, languages and religions might be a little harder to cope with.

Hi there mlb199009! I think that it is possible for a strong marriage to start from anywhere. Even where you least expect relationships to start. Through chat, there'll be a really slim chance that this can happen but it is still possible. I have heard stories from friends of my friends who have successful marriage up to now with guys that they only met through chat. A friend of mine is now living in the United States because a guy that her mom knew from chatting married her and asked them to move there and live with him.
