i wonder if ever a person that smokes finally decided to quit smoking, will the nicotine in his teeth fade away or will it still stay?I noticed people who smokes usually experience teeth discoloration and the lips and gums becomes dark. I am not talking in general, just some of them. I knew some people who smokes but still has their lips and gums pinkish, and people who smokes that had a lot of changes in the color of their lips, teeth and gums.

Well, it doesn't immediately fade away as soon as you stop the habit.. it would slowly fade away as slow as it was to stop the habit of smoking.. but with continues hygiene, it might fade faster.. ^_^

Just so you'd have an answer: it will lighten after years but it will stay there even through enough brushings (and be called stains). But you could have it removed by undergoing teeth whitening and your teeth will be sparkly white within a few sessions. :)
