Husbands Are Very Special People In Our Lives. Valentine's Day Let Them Know It.

In the everyday living of life sometimes we take for granted the most special person in our lives. I am talking about our husbands. They are the part of us who knows us better than anyone and stands beside us even when the going gets tough. Let us all women show our husbands that they are not only our husbands but also our best friend.
I like this quote and I think it says it all. Ann Landers said this:
"Love is friendship that has caught fire. It is quiet understanding, mutual confidence, sharing and forgiving. It is a loyalty through good and bad. It settles for less than perfection and makes allowances for human weakness.
Folks I believe this says it all. I agree with Ann Landers whole heartedly.

Sometimes it takes time to find just the right person who fits into your life perfectly. To me if you have been married three times and have learned lessons through them it only will enhance your marriage. I believe that a person needs to accept their mate as themselves. I had a gal tell me once that she didn't like some of the habits that her fiance had but she would change them after they got married. I mentioned to her to think she is going to change him after she married him she was in for trouble. That she should take him as he is. If the habits bothered her that much she should be sitting down and discussing with him. Not telling him what to do but discuss with him the fact that these habits bother her a lot. Very unrealistic to think you can change a man just because you marry him.

I think instead of trying to change our husband's habits we also need introspection and find that there are so many wrong habits in us also which we need to change...I mean nobody is perfect then why a wife finds fault in her husband.

I agree with you cent percent,undoubtedly they are our best friends..together husband & wife go through all the ups and downs of life,seeing all the weathers(only if one can sustain),nobody else can take his place...Good Luck!

He is my very best friend. He knows when I am feeling bad without me saying a word. No no one else can ever take his place. I love him very much. Valentines is one day in a year. I show him all year long that I love him. In the little things I do for him. I appreciate him and he is my heart and soul.

yes it is a great quote and it means so very much, I am not married but I do have a special man in my life for the last years and I just can't imagine life without him

You don't have to be married to a man to have him lodge in your heart and stay there. Each relationship whether you are married or not is special. How each person relates to one another and braving the storms of life together makes a strong bond. Marriage or not.

I don't buy gifts for this day. I plan on something special to do just for him. I pamper him the whole day long. What ever he wishes I do. I love doing this for him. This is his extra special day of the year. Of course I don't believe in just one day of the year doing things for him. For me this is a year round thing. I like to let him know he is appreciated. What better way than showing that I love him. He has helped me a lot over the years that we have been together and I love him a lot.
