Deforestation - Is it leading to Glabal Warming??

With the increasing requirement of timber and moreover the space for the increasing population of the world... Deforestation is on a rise.. and i believe it is a big reason for the Global Warming. What do you say ??

yes it is...one of the main causes of global warming is carbon Dioxide. trees and other plant live breathe it for a reason...to get it out of the atmosphere... you see this is how it works....humans breathe oxygen and release carbon dioxide...plants are exactly the opposite...they "breathe" carbon dioxide and release oxygen...I think you can put 2+2 together on the rest...less tress and more people = more carbon dioxide in the atmosphere acting as a greenhouse gas...which = global warming...
