I have a friend who is in love with 3 different cars and she would like your opinion, which one of the 3 would you choose, her concerns are safety, fuel and being very dependable... Hyundai Sonata, Toyota Camry or Volkswagen Jetta.

I've never owned a Toyota Camry but one of our daughter's has owned this car and has one now. They are wonderful, reliable and good running cars. That would be my choice between the three you mentioned. The Toyota is durable beyond durable and performs for a long time without any issues, as a rule.

Our daughter won't buy anything other than a Toyota. I own a Mazda right now and am content. This is the first time in my adult life I've owned something other than a Chevrolet.

I can recall having an Impala back in the early 70's, that was like driving a tank. LOL

I will go for Toyota Camry or Volkswagen Jetta because I think that Hyundai Sonata is having higher fuel consumption. Toyoto Camry is more reliable and durable while Volkswagen Jetta is having more safety feature. In fact I haven't got a chance to try all of them. I have been driving my friend's Hyundai Sonata for one time and it feels good. It even have a massage seat equiped. I haven't have any driving experience with Toyota Camry or Volkswagen Jetta but they are expected to be even more superb. Just my 5 cent opinion and hope it helps.

You are most welcome. Toyota Camry looks like a luxury car for me, and its price is much higher than my budget and thus is practically unaffordable for me. I am just driving compact car in my country here. But its small size, though inferior compared to Camry, allows me to do my parking with extra ease LoL.

Well, from what I know Toyota's are excellent cars, and very very dependable, so if it were me, I would choose the Toyota Camry out of these 3. I know that my neighbor has a Toyota Camry and has a lot of Great luck with it, and would recommend one to anyone.

I told my friend that I know I could get the best opinions from mylot. She loves all three vehicles and was leaning a little more towards the Sonata because she had rented one but she did not have it long enough to really make a wise decision. Thank you for your response.

None of them! I got my sights and wallet set on a brand new Ford Fusion AWD. All 3 features and more.

Of the 3 you mentioned, I only have experience with Toyota. So that would be my choice. They are really good cars. Low on the upkeep. And they go forever. When I sold my Tercel it had over 100,000 miles on it. And my mechanic told me it be good for another 100. only sold it because family grew and needed bigger car.

Hello there howard, good day to you. If you ask me personally, I would definitely go for Toyota Camry first of all for the reasons that your friend has quoted; safety, fuel and being very dependable. But on another note, Volkswagen Jetta is pretty cool too and I would choose it based on creativity and retro-stylish look of it. Have a nice day, ;)

Hello Howard haven`t seen you here for along time ,I don`t drive anymore as I don`t have a license now but if it were me I would look at the mileage and conditions of these cars before I would decide and maybe have a friend/mechanic take a look before I would decide , and which one would be cheaper for parts/repairs . These are the things I would look at first ... I`m glad to see you back ,I hope this helps ...

well I don't know much about cars, my boyfriend however wants the toyota camry, toyota is known for being a sturdy car, survives even harsh montreal winters, not too bad on fuel, and a car you can have for a good 10 years - bare in mind that foreign cars can be pricey for repairs but they are such good cars that they don't break down that fast

it is better to go with a japanese car toyota camry. it has comfort , nice features where the headlights turns as you turn. very dependable basing it from its predecesor with safety in mind. and as for fuel , if you are using a big car it needs more power.
