Hi there, any toshiba laptop owners out there? I've had this Toshiba Satellite computer for a while now, and sometimes, it just hangs on me. Most times, it is totally fine, then suddenly, if I move it an inch, it freezes and restarts, then I get the darned Toshiba In Touch With Tomorrow screen, and it doesn't change. It can stay like this for up to 3 days, and then suddenly, I will turn it on and it's back to normal again. Anyone lse have this problem? I had the mainboard replaced a few years ago and it worked fine for a while, then it started over again. Would REALLY appreciate any feedback from you guys, before I throw it outta the window and get a new computer! Cheers

When my Toshiba Laptop which is also among the Satellite series chokes up on me, and if I couldn't handle it any longer, I take all the important files that I don't want to delete and format the laptop. The system would be new and very spacious. Then I'd load the files that I took before. When you laptop slows down, uninstall the programs that you really don't use. Try to defrag your hard disk first. Have it go through system scan and if even an anti virus scan doesn't change anything, reformat it. Most of the system problems really happen on the hard disk.. having a faulty one makes the other parts useless as well..

hello i have a toshiba myself and only had those problems after about 1 year. i brought it for repair and what the technician mentioned was that hard drive was defective and there were so-called capacitor issues. What he said exactly was that some capacitors didn't carry actual charge / volt anymore and thus was a cause of the frequent crash. In fact when I finally had it repaired, there was a total of 20 or so that were replaced.
