Hello, The reason for India's defeat was mainly due to the rain which effected the entire match. Secondly, when Srilanka began their innings they played like 20-20 match while the Indians did play a normal game. Moreover, the main setback for India was Sanat's impressive short innings of 27 which took the game away from India. Your comments pls.

I think that the reason for india loosing is not having enough run on the board. Especially when it is a less over match like 25 or 30 over match against a side like Srilanka you need to have the target enough so that the asking rate is minimum 8 per over in a wicket like this one. Again you can say that the rain was one of the culprit.
