job that you've had? If you haven't had one yet, what do you think it would be (must be a realistic job that you are capable of achieving)? For me, I've actually had 2 different ones for different reasons, of course. The first was being the sales secretary for a car dealership. I actually had many many duties under this title. I dealt with all the paperwork for the sales manager, I ordered new cars in for people that wanted something specific, I ordered fleet vehicles, took in the new cars that were delivered on the car carriers and I was in charge of the lot guys that kept all the cars clean and helped with designing the layout of the lot for the front lines. Scary is driving one of the cars off the car carrier, backwards from the top. I was extremely busy all the time, but I like that. I work my best under pressure. Secondly would be when I was a desktop analyst in the administrative office for an after-school care program that was non-profit. I believe that job was so wonderful because of my boss and his boss. My boss was laid back, hilarious and a ton of fun to hang around with. His boss was a little crazy I think, but I absolutely loved her. She let us get away with so much stuff. We played pranks on people like decorating peoples' offices while they were on-site. We snatched a rubber ducky out of one person's office and held it for ransom. My boss and his boss decided that the three of us were going to go to the mall one day instead of working. What else could I say? I mean, they were my bosses. It was hilarious... I looked forward to going to work everyday. I still see and talk to my old boss even now. Have you had any similar experiences?

My favorite job is being a tutor...I've been working in a one-on-one setting for more than seven years now. I have also tried teaching in a classroom but I fing tutoring more comfortable and financially rewarding. Any setting, I am still the teacher which I love the most. For me that is the noblest and best job there is.

I have to give you kudos there! Anyone that can have the patience that is necessary to put up with kids nowadays is A-Okay in my book. My son needed some tutoring over the summer and I swear that woman had to have the patience of angels to put up with him. He's recently been diagnosed as ADHD so he can be a handful. If I wore a hat, it would be off to you. Thank you for your response, chrysz!

Hi, I work as a Software engineer. All I do the entire day is code and have some meetings. Its not all that exciting you know. I love creative works. I love designing logos/websites. I even love embroidary and handicraft work. But I cant take up that as my profession. Also, teaching profession sounds exciting to me.

Coding software is generally one of those things that people who can't do it think it sounds exciting, but those that can do it, find it boring. I have a good friend that went to college to become and software engineer and now he tries to avoid doing any coding at all. Thank you for your response rashmigs :)

My favorite job was nurses aide which I did for 15 years, I worked in a nursing home and had many years of love and joy,the job gave me personal satasifcion being able to bring a smile to a lonley face or help a resident with a task that was difficult for them.we always found a reason to have a special day for the residents,th ladies loved to cook and the men loved it when someone would bring in old tool used from the farm, animals,or just a special pizza night or bingo,I am now retired from working but i love to go visit the home and join in on many of the festivities

I can see how that would bring you much enjoyment. For me, if I think nurses aid in a nursing home, I think of bedpans and all the icky stuff. Thank you for giving me a positive image of the nursing field and thank you for your response.

I worked in insurance processing auto claims for 12 years and also keeping track of salvage logs. I loved it. Then due to circumstances, I moved and had to change jobs. I took a job at a convenience store which was meant to be temporary but I ended up loving it and i've been there for 14 years now. I have had a few scattered jobs in between and liked most of them but these two were my favorites.

Wow! I didn't think I would ever hear of someone enjoying either of those jobs. I'm glad that it worked out well for you. I worked in a gas/convenience store for a time, but it really wasn't all that wonderful. Lots of unsavory types coming in and out all the time. That is probably why I would not call it a favorite. Thank you for your response!
