Normally a summer show, I am excited to see Big Brother starting up tonight rather than in May/June. It is coming along at the perfect time too, as there is not much on television until the writer's get back to work after the long strike. It will be interesting to see where they take the show tonight, and I will surely be glued to the screen. Go Julie Chen!

I also am looking forward to tonight. Got my super pass ordered and all ready to go after tonight's show. I also have showtime for the after dark show and I checked last night and it automatically is set to record because I had it set last season to record. At least too with this winter season the summer season won't seem so far away now.

Oh no on the cancel of showtime. I am not sure if you have cable or satellite. I have directv and it airs on SHO2, showtime 2 or something like that and it is on for 3 hours. I am in central time and it airs from 11pm to 2am, that is why I record it.

We don't have Showtime, and I have always wondered if it was worth it. Is it enough to just have the internet Pass, or do you get more out of the Showtime viewing?

I'm loving the new twist tonight! So who do you think will be the first couple to go? Some of them did NOT look happy lol :)--

I loved it last night! I think that the first couple to be given the boot will be the Penthouse girl and her guy. I can't remember their names right now. But, she really screwed them both when she immediately started showing her ill disposition. She should have just shut up and dealt with who they paired her up with. Negativity does not bode well in a house where everyone is stuck there and no one can really get away from it.
Do you watch Big Brother After Dark? My hubby and I caught about one minute of it before we went to bed last night. If you don't watch it I won't tell you what we saw. But, I will tell you that it seems things have changed in a very unexpected way. Needless to say, I think the hubby and I have about 3 hours of fun filled TV tonight when we watch last night's episode of After Dark on our Tivo tonight!

I'm admittedly not excited it started last night b/c I have SO MANY things to watch! It was on at the same time as American Idol so I had to choose (lucky American Idol was dull so it wasn't a hard choice). But then on Sundays it's on at the same time as the Simpsons/Family guy which I always DVR and Extreme Home Makeover which i used to DVR! So I had to take EHM off the DVR b/c I'm obviously not going to chance missing BB :)
After watching tonight, I thought it was a great show but I still have questions. If there are only 8 couples, does that mean the season will be a lot shorter? Is this maybe a short season to fill in for shows that aren't returning due to the strike/
