Does anyone know of a really good dvd for childrens yoga? My son really needs an outlet for his energy and we did yoga once and he thought it was just to funny to lift his leg in the air and everything. But I'm skeptical about having him do an adult yoga routine becuase I don't want it to be to much for him. Thanks

I haven't ever seen a kid's yoga dvd, but my youngest son used to "work out" (what he called it).. to my Tae Bo tapes when he was about 4. He had a blast with it, it's a good way to burn off energy, and they can become physically fit in the process. The Tae Bo was not dangerous to him, and he had fun with it.
If nothing else, maybe you can find something similar if you can't locate a yoga dvd.

Oh my gosh you are a so smart!!! Tae Bo would be great becuase of how high energy and all the kicks. Right up the alley of a three year old active little guy. Thanks so much. And if that's not to dangerous for him to do then what the heck and I worried about right?! Lol I'm such a nerd some times. Thank so much!

Well, I know there's lots of other dangerous things he could be doing. But Tae Bo basically uses your own body strengths to work out. That's why it would be ideal. No weights, there's a warm up routine at the beginning, and it's high energy ....just right for an active kid.
Glad I could give ya some ideas!!

If you go to websites like Yoga Journal for example I'm almost POSITIVE they have a section in there for DVD recommendations which would most likely include ones for kids....I'd be very surprised if it didnt since they often have articles in their mag geared to that..
