Extra money, do you tend to spend or save it?

Okay, you beat me to my own punch line. We tend to save it for a little while, then try to spend it on something really important or something we really want. How is that for equivocating? I like to have my extra money hold hands with its little friends whenever possible, so it has even more buying power. Like, I have used some of my MyLot money to invest in a friend's investment club, so it gathers more every month.

If I have a bill that needs to be paid I will spend the extra money on it. If I have enough money then I am prone to save it for when I need it later on.

a little of both. I would spend some -- after all what's the use of working hard for your money if you do not enjoy the fruits of your labor? and I would save some for a rainy day.

If!!?? I have extra money (LOL)I am more likely to save as I never know when I will need it. There is always something that crops up that I have not budgeted for.

lol you are so right. I have no idea what extra money is these days. We were already struggling to make it and then my husband lost his two weeks ago. I only work part time during the winter months and no unemployment help yet. We have zero money. If I had extra money I would save it in case this ever happens again.

As far I can remember, there were only few instances when I can say that I have had extra money. That was when I was still single. Now that I am mom and wife, every few centavo counts and the extra money that I have is reserved for the 'rainy days'. In a way, that extra money which is very minimal is in the end used for some miscellaneous expenses and becomes not extra money anymore. LOL.

If I had any extra money I would do either or. It depends on the situation for me. If I needed to buy something I'd probably spend the money, but if I didn't need anything I'd probably put it in my Orange Account or another savings account with some good compounded interest. That way I would be earning extra money with the extra money I put in there. d=
