slayer!

Slayer is an awesome band giving us such great albums like Decade of Agression and Reign of Blood I hope one day we will have them on the soundrack of a disney movie because we all know that Basilisk is the real Heavy Metal

I like Slayer a lot as well. Their earlier is easily better than their more recent stuff but its like that with most thrash bands. I was listening to their debut album a lot last week and realized how good these guys were. I'd say Lombardo is one of my favorite thrash drummers of all time actually. The only thing I don't really like about Slayer is their solos, but they are trying to make it sound chaotic but I just don't care for that much.

I love seeing topics on bands i like in here. :) I've seen Slayer live something like 8 times give or take now. I tend to forget the details because i went to show many shows at the time. o_O I'm always squished against the barricade right in front of Kerry King though. I would have LOVED to seen them back in the early days, that would have been awesome.

South of Heaven is my favorite Slayer album. I find it has better songwriting and production than Reign in Blood or Hell Awaits or any of the albums before. Though I do not listen as much as I used to, if I listen to thrash it's usually something a bit more melodic or for the non-melodic ones like Kreator.

my mom want my hair cut short but i didnt want to.. so we ended up with an agreement that i cut my hair in exchange for slayer's "god hates us all" cd. it was nice doing business with my mom hehe.. it's a win-win situation for both of us since i was dying to get my hands on that slayer cd. its not as good as slayer's previous album though like reign in blood.

I went to a Slayer show when I was pregnant and that was the first time I ever felt my baby move. He was moving alot. He still goes completely crazy when he hears Slayer and headbangs.
