How do you spend your week end with your family?

If you have less time to spend with your family during week days, how will you spend your week ends with your family? Do your little family wait for the week end to arive or just add it as one of the weekdays ?

yeah,,becAuse i'm studying in the other town far from my lovely home, i always miss them, so i always wait for the weekend when i can go home and see my beloved family. that's not important whether we hang out somewhere or just stay at home, talking, watching tv or dvd. the most important thing is we spend the weekend together.

My husband works shift work so he works every other weekend. The kids are busy with basketball on Saturday and soccer on Sunday. We go to church together as a family on Saturdays at 5pm and have McDonald's for dinner. That is our routine. Sometimes we rent movies Saturday night and sometimes I have a pile up of shows I taped during the week that we watch those. We love watching our kids play their sports though. It has become more difficult now that we only have one vehicle.

We usually try to save Sunday as Family day. Whatever we are doing we include each other that day. But mostly we try to watch movies at home together on the weekends and buy some pizzas or something from the market to put in the oven and eat for the movie. Microwave popcorn too. We thought the kids were hating not going OUT to the movies *(It's so expensive now),but they actually like us all together at home better. WE get to pick the movie, make the food together and we all get to cuddle under blankets. My son just jiggles. Children actually like quality time(I do too:dads home)together doing things more.

well, we usually have dinner together each night and at least spare one day each weekend to gather together and have a chat or spend some idle time during the day by going out for recreation or anything. but at least we keep the dinner table full with the whole members of the family each night.

Because of work and school my family doesn't get much time to talk to each other but on weekends, we always go out to dine with each other and watch a good movie. THat way, we get to catch up with one another and still keep a strong relationship.

This coming weekend my hubby and I will be going to visit my son who stays in a nearby town. He invites us to spend a weekend with him and in the meanwhile he will bring us to a dinner for the celebration of the Chinese New Year festival. He suggests of taking us to a restaurant which is famous of its well known and delicious hong kong styled foods.
