Trying to eat healthy since I've been pregnant has been so super hard it's driving me nuts. I have been doing fair so far but it has been really hard. Does anyone have any unique ideas for some healthy but good and different snacks than the every day. I need something new...

I'm with you, Jenncardenas!
I'm trying to eat healthy as well and have found a few snacks that have become my favorites:
Light (low fat) String Sheese
Cucumber Sandwiches (made with fat free cream cheese spread) YUM! Tip: for a quick yummy sandwich spread, just add a little dry Italian dressing mix to your cream cheese, whip it smooth, then spread, add the cucumber slices and voila!
Granola bit snacks in the 100 calorie mini bags (great for on the run!)
Almonds (GREAT source of protien!)
Grapes (wonderful to have on hand and munch on all day-when you do this, your cravings for sugar cut way down!)
Those are a few-I hope some of them sounds appetizing to you!
Happy pregnancy!!!

Un less you are on some type of restricted diet, jenncardenas, there is no reason you can't eat anything that you normally ate during pregnancy. While I'll admit it was a very long time since I was last pregnant, I ate pretty much what I wished during the last 3. I would just advise you to eat sensibly, plenty of fruits and veggies, and lots of milk.

Being pregnant, doesn't mean eliminating your favorite foods from your diet. However, pregnant does mean that you are providing nutrition for two. Both you and your baby are dependent on what you put in your mouth for nutrition.
Be sure to put lettuce, tomatoes, and other sliced veggies on your sandwiches and burgers.
Pregnant is a good time to learn to use only whole-grain breads and rolls.
Fruit juices and milk are an especially important component of a pregnant's diet.
Sodas and coffee consumption should be minimal during pregnancy.
Eat lots of fresh veggies and fruit when you are pregnant. Just don't try to make them "tastier" by adding additional fat such as butter, creams, or sauces.
Always a good idea for reducing fat and particularly important for pregnant is to prepare meats by baking, broiling, or grilling instead of frying.
Calcium is vital for the healthy development of your baby and the health of your own growing bones and teeth. Instead of eating ice cream when you are pregnant, try eating more low-fat yoghurt and cottage cheese.

Always have handy the following:-
Fresh raw vegetables = celery, carrots, tomatoes.
Fresh raw fruit = apples, stone fruit.
Drink plenty of fresh vegetables and fruit juices.
Make sure you watch your intake of sugar.
Instead of tea and coffee, make chicken and beef
soup, cool it in the fridge and use a drinks.

I don't eat fruit or vegetable but when i got pregnant i was determined to get some into me as it's good for the baby. Your meant to have 5 a day which i was struggling to do so i started to have smoothies that had 2 or more in them. In the end i gave up and had very little fruit and veg and to be honest i ended up eating what i wanted when i wanted and it never affected me or my baby. i carried on with my normal esting habits and my baby turned out fine.
