Yes, we should act in unison or else all might be just futile, It's like nature's revenge. There are many ways to change where we are heading. As for me, I want a greener future, how? you can visit my blog at www.earth-and-us.blogspot.com if you have some spare time...

Global warming hasn't even been proven. The rates of disasters is the same as it has been for the past 40 years. New York's average tempature is the same as it was about 40 years ago as well, so it clearly hasn't "warmed." Many places have actually cooled, total glacier ice mass has increased in the past 15 years. Most heating in major citations (New York increasing in heat) is associated with the Urban Heat Island Effect, which basically says that when more people live in a close area, it becomes hotter. So in fact, Global Warming is not as "provable" as you might think. And even if it were provable, scientists estimate that an average increase in tempature of 2 to 5 degrees would be, in general, a good thing for the world because it would provide longer growing seasons, increasing the worlds food. And even if it would hurt the world, most estimates state that the earth will increase one degree celcius (which is what I have been using) in 100~150 years, and considering tempature fluctuates anywhere from 5~7 degrees each year, a 1 degree increase would cause almost nothing. Global Warming is another cold war, another wave of terrorist air bombers, another media and government supported myth that gets a ton of fear untill people actually begin to realize it is a load of crap.

Global warming have been causing lots of natural disasters all over the world and over here flooding is the most common. To change this requires efforts and cooperation from all the countries in the world especially those developed and rich such as the US, Japan, UK etc. If these countries failed to play their roles than there is nothing much to do as these countries are among the biggest contributors to the warming...
