I am so sorry. Losing someone you truly care about is never easy. My prayers go out to you in your time of need. I know first hand on how to treat each day as if it were your last because when I was 17 and on my way to school, I slid over into the other lane because the roads were so icy. Well, there happened to be a van coming and I was driving a small Pontiac Neon. I was in a coma for 1 month and in a rehabilitation hospital for 2 months. I got out of the hospital 1 day before I graduated. I am still paralized in the right side but I am just very thankful that I am alive. With that being said, I tell everyone to treat each day as if it were your lST.

I am terribly sorry to hear of your sad news. I would like to pay my condolences to you and the friends and family of your friend. it is terrible to lose someone at any time in life. You are so very right though. You can't predict when it is your time, so we must live each day as it is our last. Thank you for sharing that.

My condolences... i agre that we should live to the fullest, still it isnt always that easy but its at least worth trying. I believe that only God in heaven knows when its time for use to leave this earth, so yea one should try to enjoy and wisely use the time we have been given.

I am sorry for your loss. No words are adequate to diminish your pain. Hopefully time will diminish the hurt.
Try to remember your friend for the good things that they brought to your life and know that they are at peace now.

I am so sorry, it is hard to lose a friend. It also brings us back to reality. We cannot take life for granted.

I'm so sorry for your loss. It is hard to lose the people we know and love. How long had you been friends?
It leaves a hole in your life.

I am very sorry to hear about your friend as it is always difficult to lose someone. We can never predict when we are going to leave this earth. I agree that we should live each day to its fullest and also as much as possible spread random acts of kindness.
I don't consider myself to be morbid but I occasionally look through the obituaries of my local paper and am disturbed to see the number of people in their 30s and 40s who are passing away. Recently I saw the obituary of my old boss from when I worked at Best Buy. He was only 48 years old (my age). I know that he had diabetes for years and had several complications. He left the world with two grown children and a grandchild. His wife had passed many years before of another illness.
So let's all take care to do what you say. I try to accomplish as much everyday as possible and to spread as much happiness as I can.

I am sorry for your loss, bgerug. And what you say is true, but unfortunately, unless soemthing happens, people, including myself, don't appreciate those they love until it is too late..:(

My condolences, there are never any words to console someone during these times. I've lost some good friends in my life and it's never a pleasant thing. But you know what, I lost my best friend over 10 years ago and I feel like he's still here in spirit. I remember him today as clearly as if I saw him last week.
Think of your friend and the fond memories, he/she will never leave your side.

I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. You are absolutely right in saying that we should live each day to the fullest. Sometimes it's hard to keep that thought in mind, with all of the daily problems of life getting in our way. It's seems so important to tell the people that we love how important they are to us everyday. Again, I am sorry for your loss.

I am so, so sorry for your loss. You're very right that we never do know when we will lose someone we care for, or even when our time will come. I am sure you have some very wonderful memories of your friend that you can call upon and smile. Hang in there and cherish those times you and your friend had together! *hugs and prayers*

I am so sorry for your loss! We never imagine what a big hole is left when someone we love leaves like this. There is little to say, at this point, that can assuage the pain, but you are very right -- we need to "live each day to the fullest!" and honor those who have gone on before us as we do.
Now, whenever you think, "(Jane/John) would have loved this!," know that you have just sent them the experience, with love.
