Do you rush your children out the door in the mornings? I find myself rushing the boys out the door just to sit in front of the school for 5-10 minutes. However, this seems to work for us. During those few minutes that we are sitting outside the school, it gives us time to talk ,sing along with the radio and get a great start to the day. So even though, we do rush to get out the door we're not rushing at home and then rushing out of the car also. Is this totally insane or a good tactic? What do yo think?

I have to usually rush my kids out the door so they do not miss the bus but we usually are at the bus stop in plenty of time before it comes. I usually get them out the door because it seems they fight and argue alot when they are inside.

Morning isnt morning if we are not rushing out of the door, I like to get out of the house with plently of time for us to be able to stroll to school rather than have to walk so fast our legs are burning. We enjoy it this way because the kids talk to me more on that walk to school than at any other time and I get to find out if things are troubling them.

I don't rush my kids out the door. they are the ones who get up early and eat, take a bath, prepare their lunch pack, wear their clothes. They just say goodbye! they know what to do!

I don't rush them out the door. Usually we will tends to wake up an hour earlier. Most of the time after wash up, breakfast, changed of clothing we still have about 20 mins.
So we will get out of the house have a five mins walk to school and we will sit outside the school to chat.
